Street Law....

Street Law
Timmy was a hard working soul
He saved and saved
Had himself one of those dreams
They used to be welcomed
In the good old USA
Not so much today
Though he strives
Persevered the struggles
Took the twenty grand he saved
Dumped his four O one K
Bought himself a business
The vision becomin a reality
It made him happy
People came and went
Money was evident
Finally a shot at success
Then one day
Out of nowhere
Shit was out of control
A mob hit the streets
First, they smashed his windows
Then they destroyed his merchandise
Cash drawer ripped from the counter
Who invited the flames?
Eating alive the dry things
All because some selfish bastards
Didn't like their circumstance
Aftermath
Peering at what is just a black hole
Timmy sheds a tear
Dreams of what was
Some guy in a business suit
Holding a clipboard
Called himself the Claims Adjuster
half-hearted apologies
Sorry chump, this fire isn't covered
Timmy didn't have fire vandalism in his plan
Now, the building owner shows up
Wanting Timmy, that poor bastard
To front the cost
The police don't have any solid leads
File that away with who gives a fuck
Timmy took a chance
For something more

Where did Timmy go wrong?
Let's rewind the clock

Street Law
Timmy knew the world
It's a screw you society
Had a special cabinet made
Inside housed a twelve gauge
It was a busy day
The streets filled with protesters
Till some ass hole decided
Let's throw some bricks
Smash
There went the front window
Timmy, he's no fool
Unlock the cabinet
Out comes the Peace Keeper
Shick-shick
Goes the love
Up with the barrel
Scum bag with another brick
Gets blasted in the chest
Knocked a clear five feet back
Dead, before hittin the ground
Timmy, hell bent
Shick Shick
Out goes the empty shell
In comes the new
Squeeze the trigger
Into the air
Panic as the circus starts to run
Bodies trampled
In this day of lawlessness
You have to protect yourself
The police outline the scene
Insurance company
Replaces the window pane
Timmy's dream alive and well
Protecting his own
The political prosecutor
Wanting to make a charge
All for publicity
Another election year
File it under murder
Timmy didn't care
Defended what he risked
Self defense
The verdict from a jury
Media up in arms
Blaming it on guns
Would have been better
If Timmy lost his hut
Two outcomes
One, the path of the sucker
Other, the path of the intelligent

Street Law
Protect yourself at all costs
Trust no mother fuckers!
Destruction lives on all corners
This world isn't some utopia
Not everyone is a winner
The line for loser row
Miles in distance
Millions in attendance
That club welcomes everyone
Better be prepared
Defend your own
